For April's trait Nettle Creek students focused on curiosity. To be curious is to be eager to know or learn something. Our K-4th Grade winner was Kyle Patterson in 3rd grade. The 5-8th Grade winner was Kylie Hedrick in 6th grade. And our staff winner for curiosity was our music teacher, Mrs. Kumor. Congratulations to the foxes of the month! One last topic is National Junior Honor Society. Make sure if you see Maddy, Quaid, Aiden, and Noah in the hallways congratulate them on being inducted to this amazing society! The National Junior Honor Society is an international student organization that consists of chapters in middle schools. The purpose of National Junior Honor Society is to promote the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship within a schoolOur April trait is curiosity. Nettle Creek student council performed a short skit about curiosity. Curiosity means a strong desire to know or learn something. Student council came up with a new catchphrase to celebrate curiosity. The catchphrase is "Curiosity thrilled the fox!" If you didn't yet, make sure to add a question to the curiosity chart that's on the trophy case at the front of the school. Well that's all I have for you today, but make sure to always be.... RESPECTFUL, BE RESPONSIBLE, AND BE READY!
